Absolute restrictions for massages

Never give a massage in the case that the patient suffers from:

  • Thrombosis
  • Stroke
  • Phlebitis
  • Infections
  • Fever
  • Swollen glands
  • Unresolved bone fractures
  • AIDS
  • Serious osteoporosis

Restrictions of Massages

Relative restrictions

Never give massages in the case that the patient finds himself in any of the following situations:

  • Pregnant in the first three months of gestation.  The time remaining before birth, always give them on the side.
  • High blood pressure.  Only give relaxing, never stimulating massages.
  • When there are cutaneous reactions to the massage.
  • When the recipient is suffering a lot of pain.
  • With skin diseases.
  • People with Tachycardia.
  • People with serious contusions.
  • Immediately after surgical operations.
